School Tax/Finance Information
Since many of us received our personal property tax bills this week I thought taxes might be a good topic. The school’s portion is about 63% of the total personal property tax. We did raise our portion of the tax this year from $4.8625 to $5.0625 per hundred dollars of assessed valuation. If you took the amount of tax on the Lathrop R-II School line and multiplied it by .04, you would get the amount that your taxes increased due to that raise. Click on the title for more!
LR2 Goals - Progress Report
We spent most of last year working on our Comprehensive School Improvement Plan, our “Master Plan”. Three goals from that plan that we have really been focusing on this year are increasing our reading scores, increasing our standardized test scores, and increasing our graduation rate. We hope our actions and communications show that we are committed to reaching those goals. Our complete list of goals and objectives can be found on our web-site, www.lathropschools.com
